A couple of my paintings spent a few years rolled up and when I finally pulled them out, they had creases in them. I used to PhotoShop to smooth out the creases and so I could use the images for my grad school applications. (Note: the changes are easier to see if you click on the picture and enlarge it in your browser).

Water soluble oils on fabric and board.This painting always reminds people of the short story, The Yellow Wallpaper, though it's not based on it. (I finally read that story about a year after I made this.) I was thinking about matching foregrounds and backgrounds and what that does to the space and I like the pattern of the fabric.
My keys happened to land like this when I dropped them on the table.
